A measure gaining traction in Congress would require the 2010 Census to include a question about citizenship, a change that would cost millions of dollars and possibly derail a full count.

It seems reasonable if the census is going to count illegal aliens it should identify them. That would give ICE a list of addresses to use to deport these criminals. What I don't understand is why the government can find these illegal aliens to give them benifits that the taxpaying legal citizens are paying for and not find them to deport them?
