Hmmmm......first of all, I personally like the threat of the "war tax for the well-to-do". There has to be SOME form of personal stake in this. To republican war hawks that complain I say pay up or shove it, it's your war. To the liberals who still support Obama now, ditto. Wars cost money and these are the people of influence. The fact is that everybody in a society at war pays for it in one way or another.

Next: expatriation. Not only do I consider it naive to expect any sort of the rights we consider to be inalienable to be honored anyplace but here, consider your model of Argentina. Do you have any idea what the recent history is in that troubled land? Do you have any idea what the recent history is of Latin America as a whole? Hint: it's been the CIA's playpen ever since they got kicked out of the Southeast Asian sandbox.
