I found it by doing a google search on the quoted phrase, "It's been said that the military is always preparing for war."

The military ( any branch ) is little more than living robots; they will fire on civilians if ordered or threatened.    If martial law is declared they become the weapon and enforcer of the tyrant, not the protector of the Constitution.

This is why we have a 2nd Amendment; to protect ourselves from the tyrant and his weapons.

If the story is actual true, then why was it pulled by the author? This sounds more like misinformation to insight rage. Not a recommended tactic for a country now very much on edge. All this government needs is an excuse to do a full lockdown. Violence and guns will not bring back our republic.

M.P. - This fellow's full post can be found at:  forum.saiga-12.com  Topic 52511.

As for bringing back our republic - We still have a republic....so long as they vote socialism - and neither votes or bucks have halted that march to socialism - the Democrats are hard socialists and the Republicans soft socialists.

Washington does not fear the people, and so will do as those in power like; and those in power in Washington now very much likes socialism.  That socialism is a cancer on the spirit and progress of man is not important to them, only 'social equalization'.

By the way, violence and guns are what drove out the British and allowed the Republic to begin, then protected the Republic again in 1812, and again in 1860, and again in 1941.

The U.S. Marine who said he would fire on U.S. Citizens if Civil War Breaks Out has written another article offering an Apology

i'm a newsvine member, i read the original article, and the "apology". it wasn't an apology for what he wrote, rather for the comments that were deleted. the author merely wanted to depublish it so he could reword it, and instead deleted it. this article, headline and entire premise is bs, and is taken out of context.

i'll be completely surprised in fact if freedomphoenix isn't sued for libel.

Jeff, it's called fair use act. Deleting a page, doesn't make it go away.  Pages are archived on the net (wayback machine is just one source). Reprints and email sends are another. Copyrights don't even apply when it pertains to fair use AND discussion purposes. Some unsolicited advice, don't be a Denny Crane unless you have all the facts.

The author realized he struck a nerve with the public. This was posted all over the net. Comments on his page were overwhelming. Criticism of his blog prompted the rewrite.

It's obvious, the dude pissed off way to many people. He made his bed now he must lie in it. Plain & simple.
