Actually, the ENTIRE country is a US Constitution-free zone. The Constitution was suspended in 1932 by FDR and was never restored. FDR suspended the Constitution 7under the War Powers Act, which was accompanied by the Trading With The Enemy Act that declared all of us in the American public to be "Enemies of the State".  Check it out. These two things alone go a long way towards explaining why we are treated the way we are. Every president since FDR has kept us in a state of watr of one kind or another and built upon this basis for tyranny with Executive Orders and horrendously ram-rodded laws like the Patriot Act and Obamacare.  We must live free or die!
