Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

   Here's the thing: Look around (back) and youll see that the government has been militarizing so-called "civilian law enforcement" for nearly 40 years, under the worst of all scenarios - little to no training with weapons and weapon systems they know nothing about. Look a little further and you'll find the survey that the Navy did - maybe, 30+ years ago - to attempt to determine how active duty Marines would respond to orders to "turn their weapons on civilians". The majority indicated that they would do "as ordered". (Seems to me that the percentage was something like 75. I've misplaced my copy of the report and can't find any current source.) If you believe that all of the "urban warfare" facilities and training program development that is going on is for the sake of our troops, get your head out of your ---!

   If you know a Marine or Special Forces major or colonel who won't lie to you, ask him or her if they know anything about the military "going domestic"?
