Public funding of higher education is causing run away inflation of tuition. Get the Govt. out of higher education all together. Especially student loans. The more money pumped into the system the higher the cost becomes. Most education can be done with a chalkboard and chalk or an inexpensive computer set up. Education is not much more than talking to people. Why should communicating with people be so expensive. I have seen massive waste of funds at local community colleges. For example, signs out front that look like they belong in Las Vegas, Hugh smart boards in classrooms all wired up to expensive projectors and other equipment.
