LMFAO!  This is the height of denial!  Try saying it again "the United States is not an empire. The United States never has been an empire.  The United States never will be an empire" - next time, click your heels while you repeat it.  Eventually, it will become true.

Mike is kinda right, you know. The U.S. is a tool being used by those who WOULD BE world emperors. The U.S. itself is not an empire. It's too broken up. There is to much diversity.

One of the most important ways would-be emperors use a nation, is to give hollow gifts to the people. A simple example is that of plastic. Plastic works just fine. Plastic works better in some cases than metal. If you use plastic forks, spoons ans knives, you don't need to do dishes as much. You can simply toss them into the garbage (which brings up problems of its own... like garbage removal and garbage dumps). But, now, things made of metal are often very expensive compared to plastic things.

The point is, how can those of us who would be emperors and empresses, train (trick) the public of any nation into letting us use their energies? By promising good gifts, and then by appearing to deliver in ways that look like the delivery was one of value.

So, what is delivered in America? Simply look around you at home, at work, as you walk down town or out in nature, and you will see it all. It all looks so good, until you start to lose it. Then you realize that the processes behind the whole thing might at least be false, made up of false promises.

All empires fall. The one that is using the United States to attempt to control the world will fall, as well. After all, it has fallen many times over the millennia, simply to be rebuilt again and again as the cunning of empire builders comes into play. Who are the empire builders? Those who control the money. The bankers. And most of the time, they are the ones that fall the farthest when their empires come to an end.
