In 1987 it was near the end of the Reagan Administration, and the end of the Soviet Union could be seen on the horizon. The Berlin Wall still represented the continuation of the Cold War. But warnings of an infiltrated US Government by communist sympathies was becoming obvious to those paying attention. Red Dawn (movie) was released nearer the beginning of the Reagan administration following the Afghanistan invasion by the Soviets, and this film was influential in the formation of General Public opinion towards the idea of 'Local' resistance to military occupation. 'Amerika' took another look at America under Marxist Ideology... what if we went Woke? The death of Kris Kristofferson (Amerika's leading character) prompted this post so that a hidden perspective is brought to the awareness of Generation Next.
