Rights are inherent in people. The Constitution simply expresses those rights or the protection of those rights. | If you believe that somebody else, or some group, can use their rights to nullify or take away your rights, then what you have done is used your rights to believe your rights out of existence. | Ultimately, all rights of people are based in private property. And the whole Constitution, especially the Amendments, exist to uphold private property. | Gun rights are not based on 2nd Amendment adjudications. They are based on (like all your possessions) property rights. Is a gun your property? Then call it what it is, something other than what the government wants to call it. Call it private property. You have the right to do this, because it is your private property. Then stand on Constitution and court adjudications of private property. Forget the 2nd Amendment except if you want to fight about your right to be State militia.
