Constitutional Government and the Tenth Amendment
• https://www.lewrockwell.com, By Wanjiru NjoyaIn their book Who Killed the Constitution, Thomas E. Woods and Kevin C.R. Gutzman argue that the demise of constitutionalism--the principle of limited government--is by no means a recent development.

Personally, I believe that the Constitution was set up by people who were way smarter than average people of today. And even average people back then were way smarter than average people of today. When you (average man/woman) contract with government as is allowed under the CONTRACT CLAUSE, you just contracted away some of your Constitutional protections. And when you state that you are a US citizen, you just lost some more... by making yourself a 13th and 14th Amendment 'citizen', just like a freed slave after the Civil War.
