It doesn't matter what Americans think. Why not? Because America is a Democracy. | 49% of the people are beaten the 50%. Their chosen people get elected. Then the elected do whatever they want, and if they do it carefully enough, they don't get ousted. Democracy is group Dictatorship. | Make the platform that every elected person runs on to be a literal contract with the people. And because election is so important, make the contract include dates and other important points. Because electing is so important, make the failure to execute the contract, a death penalty for the elected. | This is a basic idea, only. Let wise people work out wise details. Then enact it.
