The deal that Western leaders want with Russia is not what it looks like. It looks like Russia/Ukraine talks about ending the war. What it really is, is the West trying to be heard above Russia, like they own her. What else it is, is to give Zelensky footing in the Government of Ukraine, something Russia doesn't accept. Zelensky is a terrorist who has taken over Ukraine by force and media manipulation, since he won't allow elections. Most of the people of Ukraine do not want Zelensky. This includes those who fled Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Western leaders are trying to use the talks idea to give Zelensky some legal footing, and start taking over Russia through this footing.
