A person can sue his own corporation for damages if the corporation has done something harmful to him. Why would he want to do this? Because then he is first in a claim for payments. Anybody else who wants to make a claim and sue his corporation, if they win in their claim, they get nothing until the first claim - the claim of the guy against his own company - is paid off. If the terms of the repayment of the first claim are small, repayment could take 30 years or more. This action protects the guy and his corporation from other law suits.
