The Bug out Buggy uses a three stage telescopic lift system to raise the turbine about 18' in the air.
The turbine itself is a 48 volt 850 watt wind turbine with durable carbine fiber blades total weight is about 24 Lbs. :$400.00 and uses a solenoid charge controller to regulate the batteries. This style of charge controller can handle up to 1000 amps where as the standard MPPT charge controller can not: $350.00
