Hi, I'm from Germany.  Last week I received a mail from amazon referring to the IRS.  They want several personal data for (!) IRS!  

 

I sell only my own old books via amazon.  Last year only 8 sales with an total amount of 24$!  I sell only in Germany!  I never shipped one item to international customers.  My shop is only national!   I wrote this to amazon, but they still want my personal data for the IRS!

 

I'm German and I have absolutely no relations to the US.  This IS Big Brother and it is dangerous.  I wrote to my government and send the amazon mails to them...still waiting for an answer.
