Powell, the video link (http://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/video-taxing-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies/) in your comment under the Freedom's Phoenix article "Storj – Dropbox for the Future" (http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/News/154900-2014-05-02-storj-dropbox-for-the-future.htm), is one of the best videos I have seen for explaining the basics of what is happening politically in the world. It is a short video - only about 5 minutes long, less than 18 megs of disk space - yet its impact is great.

The biggest thing I got out of the video wasn't something that was said directly. Yet it IS in the video, "between the lines" if you will. It is something that Marc Stevens of http://marcstevens.net/ - who has appeared with Ernie on some of Ernie's radio and video shows in the past - has been trying to get police, the courts, and Government officials to reveal, for many years now.

Marc's "No STATE Project" has been asking this question: since Government doesn't expressly state in its written "paperwork" and "legal writings" where Government gets its authority over us, WHERE DOES GOVERNMENT GET ITS AUTHORITY OVER US, especially in our little daily activities in life? It seems that Government's only basic, fundamental answer to the question of where they get their authority over us is, "we have jurisdiction because we say so."

Well, I think I have figured out their line of thinking. And it is all based on the idea that we have "volunteered" to be under their authority. It works something like this.

The super-wealthy, super-elite of the world are simply people. If you stand any one of the super-elite next to any homeless bum who walks the streets of Phoenix, outside of clothing or cosmetic manifestations, what's the difference that you would see? It isn't much. Both of them are simply people. Strip off all refinements, and you get two people who have been born of women, are of the same nature of all people on this planet, are virtually not any different. And this is how we voluntarily come to be under the authority of the super-elite.

Think about it. The only way anyone has power over anyone else is that he is stronger. If the Government of the USA determines that you, personally, must do such and such but you resist, and they send their armies to force you, but you are stronger, who is the government? If you, personally, happen to be able to defeat all the police and military might in America, as well as everything that the Government can send against you, and if you can force THEM to do YOUR bidding, then aren't you the Government?

The super-elite people are only people. Yet it seems that they can force you to do their bidding through their courts of no real jurisdiction. But since they are only people, why is it that very often you can't resit them? I mean, since the super-elite are only people, and we are only people, what's the difference? Here is the difference. And here's the logic behind it.

The super-elite have set themselves up in positions of power and authority. Because they are only people like us, WE COULD HAVE DONE THE SAME IF WE HAD WANTED, right? After all, there is no difference between any one of us and any one of them, right? Prove it by standing one of them, naked, next to one of us naked. So, since we HAVE NOT done the thing that they have done - clothed ourselves with wealth and power and authority - but since we COULD HAVE because we are simply people like they are, we have by default volunteered to be under THEIR authority. At least, that's the way it looks to them. After all, if WE had wanted to be in authority over them like they are in authority over us, WE would have done the things that they did, right? After all, we ALL are simply people, right... both they and us?

Read the above paragraph again. It shows you how YOU have volunteered to be under their authority. And it provides the basics for showing you the direction that you need to go, to start getting out from under the authority of the super-elite. You have to VOLUNTEER YOURSELF OUT, and you have to do it by recognizing it, by realizing that there is method for volunteering out, and that volunteering out just might take doing some of the things that the super-elite have done to set themselves up in their positions power and authority. And some of the things that you do might need to be exactly opposite of what the super-elite have done... if you want to succeed, that is. After all, there are more ways that one for gaining power and authority, or FREEDOM if that's all you want.
