The Future of Education & Learning by Ty Loomis and Matt McKinney

The Future of Education & Learning by Ty Loomis and Matt McKinney

By: Ty Loomis

Education is failing.  Schools as we know them now are obsolete and outdated.  Failure to engage students by stimulating critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving has lead to a culture of passive obedience.

Corporations fund University research and therefore influence curriculum.  State schools are failing: inefficiencies are rampant, teachers are underpaid, lack accountability, and students are not getting the quality education they deserve.  The more the state intervenes the worse it seems to get.

What if we didn't need schools?  What if we didn’t need school teachers?  What if the best teachers in the world were located on one educational website?

In effort to provide a solution to these challenges, Ty Loomis and Matt McKinney have created their vision.  IntellectualRevolution.tv is an educational discovery website, focused on personal growth and global evolutionary challenges.

Their website features conscious intellectuals moving the world on an enlightened path to liberty, harmony, and sustainability.

Intellectual Revolution’s mission is to assist in humanity’s evolution by providing quality information, which promotes critical thinking, personal growth and direct positive action.

Their website content consists of:

                  -  Videos
                  -  Documentaries
                  -  Intellectual Profiles (w/quotes, tweets, bio’s, books)
                  -  Top Free Curriculum and Educational Channels
                  -  And Top Alternative News Channels

Where ever you find your personal “Intellectual Revolution Journey” taking you, Intellectual Revolution has created a beautiful platform to assist you in discovering your world … and most importantly discovering yourself.

"Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." " Aristotle

"There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first." " Jim Morrison

If so, then enjoy these solutions written by Foster Gamble from www.ThriveMovement.com

The basic strategy we’ve come up for the education sector involves:

Stage 1:  Reform Existing Systems " Transition out of the state-school model and encourage alternative schools to emerge by loosening government regulations and allowing people to attend the schools they choose.

                  - Redirect a Portion of the Military Budget into Education

                  - Set Up A Scholarship Fund For Those Who Need It

                  - Gradually Lower and Eventually Eliminate Education Taxes

                  - Allow and Encourage Diverse Education Programs to Emerge

                  - Advance Education to Include More Whole-Systems Thinking and Analysis of Current World Issues

Stage 2:  Limit Government Control " Make the transition to education without government intervention.

                  - Transition State Scholarship Program to a Private, Charitable Fund

Stage 3:  Set up Systems for Voluntary Cooperation " Keep the government out of education and allow people to choose the education they desire.

                  - Get and Keep Government Out of the Educational Process

More Education Solutions

                  - Thank a Teacher

                                    - Is there a teacher you had who made a real difference in your life? Let them know.

                  - Protect Homeschooling

                                    - Parents should be given the choice to opt-out of the public or private school system and educate their children as they see fit.

                  - Start, Join, or Support Alternative Education Programs

                                    - Parents are forming powerful networks and cooperatives that bring a new approach to education. Take a look and consider joining or starting your own program.

                  - Green Your School

                                    - Get your school to adopt green practices that are good for people and the planet.

Inspirational Education Quotes From Great Intellectual Minds
