Why does this article show Associated Press when it links to the ARM site? And, where is the link to the NRA/ILA site or source of this material?

Cut and paste this link for an accurate account of the matter. No where on the NRA/ILA site do they suggest they support H.R. 45 or any of the other newly minted gun grabbing attempts.

Ah, this is a spoof. Why you would need to spoof an organization whose leadership is dedicated to writing gun banning legislation I cannot say.

This is EXACTLY why I REFUSED a 'free Membership' and didn't go near the Convention Center (and I won't be there today, either.)

Apparently NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre doesn't understand or refuses to believe Messrs. Hussein and Holder consider all guns "assault weapons" and are to be banned. The only person on the cold slab will be the legal gun owner. That Ted Nugent has been sucked in with this crowd only proves that loud music isn't the only thing that destroys the mind. [; )

In 1994 the NRA here in Arizona rated Jon Kyl A+ AFTER he voted for the Crime Bill/Assault Weapons Ban.
