First, you take the guns away so that people can't bear arms against the government.  Second, you quash their freedom of speech to eliminate discent.  They're both happening in the US today, everywhere, at the federal, state and local level.  Next, they start coming to your house in the middle of the night, dragging you out, shooting you against the first wall they find and dumping the body in the ditch.
