Not everything made public in AIG case

Documents released in the US have shown the New York Federal Reserve Bank helped bailed out insurer AIG to build a case against disclosing details of AIG's payments to banks. The Fed reportedly became actively involved with AIG’s lawyers to ensure it could claim a "confidential treatment request" to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
