Last year, U2 got in big trouble with fellow tree-hugging greenies over the size of their carbon foot-print for their 360 world tour. Eco-groups were quick to point out that the 360 tour required a fleet of 189 trucks and buses, a crew of 500, and that the band racked up over 70,000 miles jetting around the world. Carbonfootprint.com, a company which assesses environmental damage, estimates the tour will pile up 65,000 tons in carbon emissions. Now U2’s guitarist Edge takes the bands hypocrisy to even new heights.
