Notice that the TV news people who did their own watch of the skies, used the man's own camera system. They got the same results an the man did. Why didn't they use their own cameras? I mean, it would be worth it to modify their cameras if necessary, just to duplicate the observation with independent cameras.
The thought that it might be a residential neighborhood where the UFO is taking off from and landing from... there must be an easy way to triangulate, as suggested in another comment.
It wouldn't surprise me to find out that there are a bunch of backyard mechanics who are smart enough to do just about anything. Many of these are way smart enough to not inform anybody of how smart they are... at least not with Government being what it is today.
If someone there knew math, and had a tripple digit IQ, they would know that there should have been at least two cameras so that one could do triangulation and thus determine how close or far away the object was. Unless one knows the distance from the camera, or the size of the object, then stating that it traversed the visual field qucikly gives exactly zero information.
Is this the same NORAD that failed to track four airliners on 9/11?? Guess they're not getting any better, ehh?
