This is a sampler patch of a chainmail weave called Dragonscale. I designed it in 3d CAD software and Shapeways printed using their Selective Laser Sintering technology. As a result of being printed, the rings that make up the chainmail have no joins!

3D printing is used in the industry of Rapd Prototyping but I prefer creating unusual items.
