Embed Instagram Photos in Your Twitter Feed With This Workaround
• Wired.comNow, usually when somebody posts an Instagram photo to Twitter, the tweet doesn’t have the photo embedded inside. Instead, there’s only a link to view the photo on Instagram’s website. It requires your followers to click an extra link, then wait for the webpage on Instagram.com to load. It’s annoying.
My Instagram photos, however, are always embedded directly in the tweets. Like this:
This is a hack. I’ve strung together a simple backend system — which I learned from my friend Erik — that forces my Instagram photos to appear embedded in my tweets and gives me a third-party backup of all my pictures.
