There's an old saying that if goods don't cross borders, armies will. It should be obvious to everyone that cutting trade with China would be disastrous, and war with nuclear China would be catastrophic. America can be economically competitive again, but it's going to take a drastic reduction in the size and scope of the federal government. That's where our energies should be focused.
