A Florida father was forced to leave work midday on Tuesday to remove his child from Lake Region High School after students participated in an anti-ICE protest that led them onto a nearby overpass, where he said one student nearly got hit by a car.

The incident, captured in a viral TikTok video reposted on X, shows the upset dad confronting school staff while signing his child out.

"You have, like, a thousand kids on the overpass, one just about got hit by a car," the parent tells school staff.

The father continued, "Kids shouldn't be involved in that sh-t. This is for learning. I have to leave work because while I'm working, I have to worry about what you're manipulating my kids into listening to. It's bullsh-t."
