The streaming service shared the update in an official statement on April 7, telling users that support for the platform is coming to an end and outlining next steps for its community.

The closure marks the end of DLive's run as an alternative livestreaming platform, which had previously positioned itself as a decentralized service and attracted a range of creators over the years.

DLive confirms shutdown and immediate feature changes

In its announcement, DLive said: "We regret to inform you that the DLive platform will be ceasing operations."

The company also confirmed that its top-up system, including subscriptions, has already been shut down. "The top-up function, including subscriptions, has been discontinued effective immediately."

Users have been instructed to take action before the platform fully winds down in April. DLive said users should "withdraw any remaining Coins," "cancel all active subscriptions," and "download any content stored on DLive."
