 Attached is a report on apparent corruption of voting for delegates at the 2008 AZ Republican Convention, violation of party rules, refusal by the State Party Chairman to allow independent audit of the ballots and election after requests from State Executive Committee members and an official unanimous request from the LD-4 officers, and subsequent intentional corruption of the secured ballots and voting tapes.  All of this begs the question if the upcoming State Party elections will in anyway be honest and fair.  This is especially true when the State Party Chairman claims that the Final Credentials Report given by Maricopa County Recorder Helen Purcell was not correct, the distributed minutes by State Party Secretary Linda White are wrong,  he does not have to comply with the RNC rules and Robert’s Rules of Order – those rules having been confirmed by AZ National Committeewoman and Arizona State Party Parliamentarian Sharon Giese concerning distribution of the vote tally results with the minutes, etceteras.  The continued secrecy, refusal to answer questions on discrepancies, contamination of ballots that forever prevents any trustable audit, and actions to discredit those elected Republican Party officials who question the election and the Chairman’s actions, give cause for great concern to all in the Party.

From the Chairman’s actions, it can be “inferred” that he is of the belief the results of the current Presidential election, and that of all Arizona elections should just be announced by the Governor as to who won with NO vote tallies allowed to be seen by anyone else – the candidates, the voters, etc.  There is NOTHING secret about the convention tally votes for National Delegates, and all of the AZ state delegates attending the AZ convention and voting, along with all of the candidates, have a right to see how many votes were received by each candidate.  Election transparency is what American elections are all about and have over all other countries in the world.  His refusal is NOT what the Republican Party should be about.  There have been 5 months of requests for the vote totals which have been ignored or refused by the Chairman, with his continued statement to “trust him” and that everything at the election was proper.  With the corruption of the ballots by the Chairman and his staff opening the sealed box(es) of ballots, no one will ever know for sure what occurred.  As mentioned before, the great concern is the upcoming elections that the Chairman and State Officers and staff are in the process of setting up now.
