Junk Silver Applications For Your Smartphone

With our recent focus on the Silver Bullet campaign, I thought it would be an excellent idea to have smartphone applications available to the public so they can actually see what their "junk silver" is worth.  In December, I was on Declare Your Independence and asked for some help with developing an Android and iPhone application.  Within a few hours, I had emails from two talented listeners that each pledged to get something completed by the middle of January.  Those applications are now making their way online and you can access 2 of them RIGHT NOW!
 
For your Android powered phone, there is "Silver Calculator" from Frontier Industry Labs.  I collaborated my ideas with the programmer and they were able to deliver!  You can search the Android Market for "Silver Calculator" or you can scan this code to install it. And right now, its FREE:


The other smartphone application that is available now is for the Palm WebOS.  You can follow this link for more information.

The developer of the WebOS is also working on an iPhone version, but Apple is harder to work with and we don't know when it will be in the market.
 
We haven't had any takers on making a BlackBerry application, but that may change in the future.
