Controlling Idlib Province: Syria's Final Liberating Battle?

Assad, Syria's Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, and other government officials stressed many times that conflict won't end until the country is entirely liberated and foreign forces no longer occupy any parts of it.

With the Damascus countryside, most of southwest Syria, and other parts of the country largely free from ISIS and other US-supported terrorists, Assad said:

"Our goal now is Idlib (province), but not only Idlib. There are territories in the east of Syria controlled by various groups. A little bit is held by IS, and some by the Al-Nusra Front and other militant formations."

"So we will be moving into all these regions. We have liberated Ghouta. We will finish the liberation of the southwestern part of Syria."

Addressing al-Qaeda linked White Helmets in Syria, they'll be dealt like all other terrorists, he said. 

"They have two choices: to lay down their arms and use the amnesty we have offered over the last four or five years, or be killed like the other terrorists."

The US/UK/NATO funded group has no legitimacy, "It's a mask…for (US-supported al-Qaeda in Syria) al-Nusra" terrorists, Assad stressed, adding:

"You have videos and photos of this group's members holding swords and celebrating the death of Syrian soldiers."

"What more evidence do you need that they are not a humanitarian organization, but a mask used by Al-Qaeda?" 

By evacuating hundreds of its elements and family members days earlier, Israel provided added proof of its support for terrorists in Syria, its undeclared war on the country, allied with Washington's aim for regime change.

The US and Israeli regimes are enemies of regional peace and stability, partnering in each other's wars of aggression.

Syria's liberating struggle continues, eliminating US-supported terrorists in the country far from achieved.

Ending illegal Pentagon and Turkish occupation of parts of the country hasn't yet been undertaken - perhaps the most daunting objective to achieve since combatting terrorism began.
