Escalated Turkish Aggression Set to Be Launched in Northern Syria

On the phony pretext of combatting a cross-border Kurdish threat that doesn't exist except in self-defense if attacked, wannabe Turkish suntan Erdogan said the following on Friday:
"We have completed our preparations and action plan (for aggression in northern Syria). The necessary instructions were given."
"It is maybe today or tomorrow the time to clear the way for (our) peace efforts (sic) which is set, and the process for them was started."
"We will carry out a ground and air operation. Our aim is, I underline it, to shower east of the Euphrates with peace (sic)."
Fact: Preemptive wars have nothing to do with peace, everything to do with conquest, control and dominance.
Erdogan long coveted annexation of northern Syria, especially its oil-producing areas. That's what his planned cross-border aggression is all about.
Is the Trump regime abandoning its Kurdish proxy fighters? White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said the following:
"US forces "will not support or be involved in the (Turkish) operation (and) will no longer be in the immediate area. Turkey will soon be moving forward with its long-planned operation into northern Syria."
The White House statement said nothing about the fate of its proxy Kurdish fighters, part of the US war on Damascus.
Pentagon and allied troops aren't leaving the country, just redeploying to new positions, a Kurdish statement saying:
"The American forces did not fulfill their commitments and withdrew their forces from the border areas with Turkey, and Turkey is now preparing for an invasion operation of northern and eastern Syria," adding:
"The Turkish military operation in northern and eastern Syria will have a huge negative effect on" combatting terrorism the US supports.
"We will not hesitate for a moment in defending our people" against Turkish troops.
An earlier article discussed Erdogan's land grab scheme. With considerable foreign help he needs, he aims to spend $27 billion for constructing scores of villages and 10 towns in northern Syria, including 200,000 residences in a so-called "safe zone."
He seeks control over 250 miles of northern Syrian territory bordering Turkey, 20 miles deep into its sovereign land.
Claiming it's to resettle one to two million Syrian refugees in Turkey is a ruse. The scheme is all about expanding Turkey's southern border by illegally annexing Syrian territory.
Erdogan wants Syrian refugees prevented from returning home to Aleppo and other areas — wanting them resettled in Syrian territory controlled by the US and its terrorist foot soldiers.
He wants northern Syria demographically changed from historically Kurdish to territory housing Turkish-supported Syrian refugees.
He's willing to wage naked aggression to try achieving his aims, making conflict resolution in Syria less unattainable than already.
Reporting on Turkey's planned cross-border offensive, Russian English language media said nothing about whether the Kremlin supports, opposes, or remains neutral on what's apparently coming.
Escalated war in northern Syria near Turkey's border assures more misery for area residents.
Separately, Fars News reported that al-Nusra terrorists in northern Syria's Idlib, Hama and Lattakia provinces "recently received state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, including modern anti-tank missiles, communications and electronic jamming equipment as well as 200 drones."
Throughout years of war launched by Obama, continued by Trump, the US and its imperial allies supplied ISIS, al-Nusra, and likeminded terrorists in Syria and elsewhere with weapons, funding, training and direction.
Endless US-led aggression rages in multiple theaters with no resolution in sight.
