We can try to deal with the Mexican murderers as we first dealt with Al Capone and his minions, or we can apply the lessons we learned from alcohol prohibition and finish dismantling the destructive prohibition experiment.

The article is completely convincing and leads with almost irrefutable logic to lifting the ban: "Portugal, since 2001, and the ... [lifting of the ban] on ALL "psychotropic" drugs,...has had resounding success."

Only the drug pushers and their agents could remain (stubbornly) unconvinced about this. But they would present formidable, probably unbeatable, opposition
IMO.
