I just installed Tails onto a 16Gig Sandisk Flash Drive. Works fine, but it didn't at first. It didn't because it needs a uefi system rather than a legacy system - whatever that means. If you are running Linux, most likely your computer will be set up as legacy. You need to get into the BIOS and change it to uefi. Windows uses uefi. DuckDuckGo search on "legacy and uefi" for more info on them. Or use the search box at https://tails.boum.org/about/index.en.html to search on both, legacy and uefi.
