The creation story in Genesis chapter 1 seems to indicate that there was a shell of water around the earth before the great flood of Noah's day. Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is made in the atmosphere when cosmic rays hit water droplets. H2O2 neutralizes toxins and kills germs. The flood removed this water from around the earth. Toxins and germs reduce lifespan.
