Hot dog! You can bet if it were you or me we would be spending months of quality time in Sheriff Joe's Hell Hole after a stern rebuking from the judge. I wouldn't normally push for a trial for anyone who accidentally killed their pet, but in this case there are people in prison for the same thing, but they get no preferential treatment. I suppose it is amazing that it was prosecuted in the first place.

Gold closed in NY at $786 an ounce and silver at $12.70. Can't ask for a better time to buy if you can find some. I have never had trouble with gold, but when silver dips it is tough.

As a delegate for Ronald Reagan in 1980, I feel a sense of guilt when I see his sucess in transforming our constitutional Republic into a democracy, which,of course was rejected by the founders. They enthusiatically chose the Republican Form ov government we now enjoy. It's up to us to keep it. I will vote independent.

I sure agree with Lisa or who ever wrote this, but with the following exceptions: Bush is not an "idiot", the American people are idiots for putting up with him and swallowing his line of sh--. The American people are not "laughing at" Bush, they are so drugged out of their minds by media and advertising that they are just stumbling around stunned. Wake up dummies! Bush, Cheney, Rice and all those other creepy smirking fat cats blew WTC buildings 1,2, and 7 down with explosives. This is the biggest crime (so far) of the 21st century and all most Americans can do is ridicule people like me (and hundreds of like-minded engineers, architects and physicists) who have actually reviewed the evidence. Yes and I would like to know how well the plastic will hold up to sunlight, wear and tear from the constant impact with dust that erodes windmill blades and how much periodic maintenance it requires.
I note the article was completely bereft of any detail. 15 minutes to install something that has to weigh a lot and connected to 220V.
Also, you generally want to get the blades about 30 feet off the ground to have a decent amount of near constant breeze. I am attracted to the design. I just would like to see the specs and proof of design.

What tripe. The story doesn't give a swept area of the rotor but it need to be pretty large and be in a constant medium to high wind area to be able to supply the energy needs of a modern home. Just another stories to make people believe that energy use/production is such an easy problem to fix. Few hundred bucks and slap it on the roof and Budabing no more electric bill…..NOT

The less the corporations pay in income tax, the less they pass on to the consumer. This is supply and demand in action. Would you want a corporation to pay double? Should they first pay it on the corporation, and then pay it on the same money again as earnings that the corporate officers receive from the corporation? Think of how much the prices of goods would go up if that were to happen.
