The majority of law enforcement "agents" are the bad guys.
Nobody owes anyone else anything they do not own AND have uncoercively agreed to part with.
People have a Right to travel.
People "illegally" in this country are illegally in this country because the government prohibits their entry, not because they are doing anything that is bad in and of itself. It is called control.
Government uses goons, (aka armed thugs, highwaymen, cops, deputies, police, policemen, and "agents") to coercively force people to part with their time, their property and their future for the benefit of government and its supporters. Like welfare, health care benefits, social security and Medicare payments, government pensions and salaries, subsidies, et cetera....
People wish to visit and offer their services and goods at a market rate so that I get the best possible exchange for my labor and property as possible. They have that Right. Government interfere with this right forcing my expenditures up, while robbing, that is taxing me in the process. They use the goons to enforce our compliance.
Under penalty of death....
You seem confused for a slave. Rights are not bestowed by government. They precede and supersede government. They are human Rights that exist at birth. They are our birthrights. The USA was the first nation to recognise these Rights, and incorporate them into their government's founding document, at the insistence of those who rejected the federal government without such assurances that these Rights, both numerous and unwritten, would never be trespassed upon by the government the CONstitution created. Well that failed. And the one, single, sole function of the new government; namely to protect our Rights, is the one function the federal government has NO intention of doing.
Fortunately the government has no shortage of slaves it can bleed, thugs it can hire and unpaid mouths willing to justify its armed robbery.

Stephen your article is written in true blue bleeding heart liberal fashion. You have tried to demonize law enforcement agents as the bad guys. I know it is hard to believe that the legal United States citizens are the good guys and don't owe illegal aliens (the criminals) anything. Once someone steps foot illegally in OUR country they are a CRIMINAL! And everything that they do after that is the illegal act of a CRIMINAL. Why is that so hard to see? Wake up and smell the roses !. I am sure that you love to use the term undocumented immigrant so that you can gloss over the point they are illegal criminal aliens. Calling them undocumented immigrants is the same as calling a drug dealer an "undocumented pharmicist". Constitutional rights are reserved for legal United States citizens not for invading criminals.
It is long overdue that our immigration laws are begining to be enforced by ICE raids. Increasing the raids by a thousand fold would start to show a reduction of illegal alien crime and financial drains of the LEGAL tax paying citizens. Throw the criminals out, take control of our borders and decide who we allow to come to OUR country.

This is the height of reprehension and hypocrisy if ever I've seen it. Here we have Bush and Cheney, a murderous Nazi criminal regime of the worst kind, in an illegal war with Iraq, threatening and set on starting another illegal war with Iran, while in the process of the highest of treason to deliver this country to a Marxist/Nazi totalitarian NWO dictatorship calling another country's military response "disproportionate". Although Russia's response is in fact "disproportionate" to say the least the last people on earth in a position to open their evil lying mouth is Bush and Cheney. Even though they are simply following the directives of their "puppet masters", the ultimate of criminals, the Bilderbergs, Tri laterals, Facade FED, CFR, IMF, etc. it is repulsive that these two demons from hell could utter such words concerning any evil anywhere at any time given the fact that none can compare to the evil they have and continue to be involved in. There will indeed be a corner of hell hotter than all the rest of hell preserved for these two.

In 1821, Thomas Jefferson said "The multiplication of public offices, increase of expense beyond income, [and] growth and entailment of a public debt are indications soliciting the employment of the pruning knife."
Obama or McCain would both make these matters worse should either become President; only Ron Paul has spoken of pruning things back to former levels - if not outright abolishment of those things Mr. Jefferson so wisely advised us to keep an eye on. Thank you Mr. Blitz for standing on PRINCIPLE - something the other two 'choices' are sorely lacking.

Susskind said he was going to release the transcript. This was in response to his source essentially allowing the Whitehouse to issue a denial on his behalf. When confronted with this Whitehouse announcement Susskind heavily praised his source for bravery in saying what he said to Susskind, and understood the enormous pressure the Whitehouse can bring on someone to lie, and then said he would release the transcript from the tape... you really don't want Susskind to release the audio do you for everyone to say yup that is the source?

At its least cynical, you can bet that just like pre-911, the bureaucrats in ALL the federal agencies are sitting on a pile of intrusive, coercive, invasive and punitive laws and regulations they wish to implement to make their tasks at observing and manipulating the Internet and your computers easier. And the only thing stopping them is fear of you taking up arms. Becoming much less of a fear over time.
They just patiently wait -- and as the conspiratorial would say patiently plan -- until an event happens that required their benevolent intervention to protect you and your family from the attacking horde.
Currently such is happening in the economy where the events have not only been patiently planned but implemented in plain sight. Now that the dollar is collapsing, those responsible NEED more authority to regulate the collapsing dollar further. Because this obviously isn't their fault, they have been managing the dollar just fine these past eight decades. So it must be someone else's fault: Mexicans, speculators, foreign governments, whomever is convenient for you to slip the noose over. Paying no attention to the man in the booth.
And so, like wars, crime, and the economy now your lines of communication must be gotten back under their control. So a wave of instantaneous pension plan robberies via the Internet, a massive child pornography syndicate uncovered, a major city's infrastructure suddenly starts to misbehave due to hackers and the cry of protect me from the Internet will reach a happy to oblige you crescendo of CyberPATRIOT ACT (I).
OK, everything is fixed now. You can go back to your computers . . . after you register them of course, pay your yearly Internet access licensing fee and pass the mandatory annual eight hour safe handling of a computer and online experience course. We're from the government, and we are only here to help.

I am of the opinion that Peak Oil is all bullshit. I remember producing a radio show on Peak Oil and interviewing potential guests (big Peak Oil names) and I had one question I began asking them all,... "Who's dip stick are you using?"
The question that I had was very valid in my mind. I wanted to know where they were getting their information. If the Saudi Oil Fields are drying up, then how do you know? I'm sure there are ways of knowing, but who is providng the information?
Abiotic Oil is another favorite topic we had on the air in detail. The idea that oil is a byproduct of the heat and pressure inside our planet and that the old oil fields are filling up again is becoming more popular with increasing evidence.
Soooo, I am of the opinion that there has never been a shortage of oil and that every drop willing to be purchased has been made available. The "Oil Bubble" has been very profitable for the oil companies but have sparked a lot of alternative energy excitement. It may be that the alternative energies coming online has been behind the "make the money now" mentality of Big Oil. But I suspect that the real boom in alternative energy is the ability to get "off Grid" and that an entirely new trend towards rural living is about to take flight,... and Big Oil is not invited.
But I've seen this before. The late 70's and early 80's saw the start of alternative energies being heavily invested in only to have Oil prices plummet while the subsidies for fossil fuels increased (don't think trillions of dollars in military spending to protect our access to "cheap oil" isn't corporate welfare?)
The eventual shift to alternative energy is going to have several unseen factors propelling the interest. Not the least of which will be the ability to get away from all of the manipulation we are forced to suffer in our lives.
