Consolidate and Control - "Cerberus Gun Control?"

Could this be how they will take our guns away? They have been consolidating everything else.
The Freedom Group > Cerberus > A George Soros Company ?....Uh Huh! They never give up. Deception is their modus operandi...

I googled "cerberus
capital management freedom group buying guns" and found many stories about this.
Without lots of research, it looks like it is
true!
For the last several years a company
called "The Freedom Group" has been buying up American gun and ammunition
manufacturers.
Some of these companies
are:
Bushmaster,
Marlin,
Remington,
DPMS,
Dakota Arms and
H&R.

Parker

Barnes Bullets

Some
people worry that Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms
companies in the United States. Of course, If you control the manufacturers you
can decide not to sell to civilians, or, you can raise the prices to ridiculous
levels or you can make the supply of guns and ammo scarce - all sorts of
logjams.
What a perfect way to control
America's guns!
If you do some digging you
will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a Wall Street investment company
called "Cerberus Capital
Management".
"Cerberus" in the epic book
"The Inferno" by Dante Alighieri, is a three-headed demon hound (from Roman
mythology) that guards the Gates of Hell to prevent those damned souls who have
just crossed the river Styx, from escaping back to the
world.
Investor GEORGE SOROS owns
Cerberus!
Please pass this on to all your
freedom loving friends. This needs to come out - and quickly! Why have we not
heard about this in the "mainstream" media? I would think this would be BIG
news.
The absence of big media coverage
on this important subject should be BIG news to you, too!

This is a FALSE rumor that has been going around for over a year, who's genesis is traced back to competing firearms companies trying to thwart, dull, and deflect Freedom Group's domination of the market. It is continually being debunked,...but people who cut and paste things they receive in emails before they research them themselves keep dirty crap like this circulating.
IT IS NOT TRUE!!!
The CEO and Chairman of Cerberus, Stephen Feinberg, is a lifelong hunter and shooter, whom I have seen interviewed on financial network programs dating back to the mid 90's when Freedom Group was formed and began its buying spree of gun companies. While far too friendly with neo-cons, and having invited Dan Quayle and former Bush Treasury Secretary John Snow (now deceased) onto the board, there has never been a disarmament agenda behind Cerberus or any connection with Soros. One of the descendents of the founder of Savage Arms (one of Cerberus' companies), Frank Savage, is on the board of Freedom Group. A very active life member of the NRA, Frank Savage is known for speaking out on topics regarding disarmament that have earned him a reputation as a rabidly pro-gun guy. If there was any connection to Soros, you'd be hearing him screaming about it.
Makes you think about the states that have started to legalize the domestic in state production of firearms.
