We anticipate that the government may react... in fact we are counting on it. But first we made sure that the Phoenix Police knew what we were doing and why so that there wasn't any misunderstandings and that they knew who they were dealing with and how _not_ to react. They appreciate the headsup and inform municipal employees. If I wanted to get a negative reaction on tape I would just go to Scottsdale or Mesa and not inform them about anything that we are doing,... but that's not the way we roll.

My "Confrontation Prevention Squad" Community Service contact at the Phoenix Police Department responded by saying that he was unaware of any ordinance that would prevent us from doing what we were planning. I immediately asked him to Google "Parking Meter Arrest" so he could see all of the arrests made for just what we were doing even though there was no "law" against it in many of the cities that had arrested people for 'made up' reasons.

With everyone involved fully informed and in contact with each other, we did what we did and no problems. Had there been an incident, we would have had it on tape and dealt with the attention another way. Either way we would have benefited.

 And as far as that court case goes, they were using .999 pure american silver eagle silver dollars to AVOID PAYROLL TAXES. Using US minted and circulated coins in a barter transaction for goods is NOT the same.

A federal jury Friday found Las Vegas businessman Robert Kahre guilty of all 57 felony counts of evading taxes, failing to withhold taxes from workers' wages, and engaging in fraud during real estate transactions.

Three other defendants were found guilty of most, but not all, of their related charges.

Kahre had claimed he tried to legally avoid taxes by creating a cash payroll system that disbursed gold and silver coins, on the theory that recipients could go by the coins' face value for tax purposes.
