..."serves to detract from the serious candidates on the ballot." I'm drawing a complete blank. Who are these serious candidates he's talking about?

I feel a lawsuit in the wind. Leaving it to party operatives to determine who can and can't participate in the political process for any reason they want is a very dangerous precedent.

If you think about this issue for even a moment you start to see the implications all lining up quickly,... and none of them good.
