I was at the Consumer Electronics Show and saw this technology in several booths. I thought it was pretty cool... the computer games, animated feature films, and converted IMAX special-interest features looked neat.

But THEN they showed the Beijing Summer Olympics in 3D. WOW freakin' WOW!

AND THEN (in a separate booth) they showed STAR WARS in 3D. George Lucas is converting all 6 Star Wars films to 3D. Remember what you felt like when the star destroyer flew over you in the 1977 premiere? It was the same feeling.

I think this is going to be big. As long as we're all alive and can afford it.
