A year after the financial system nearly collapsed, the nation's biggest banks are bigger and regaining their appetite for risk. Goldman Sachs [GS 177.71 3.01 (+1.72%) ], JPMorgan Chase [JPM 43.75 1.25 (+2.94%) ] and others, which have received tens of billions of dollars in federal aid, are once more betting big on bonds, commodities and exotic financial products, trading that nearly stopped during the financial crisis.

Why wouldn't they take the same risks.  YOU bailed them out of the consequences of their last risk.  Though I guess it wasn't much of a risk was it?
