When Google.cn was launched, the search engine giant was criticized for censoring results. Now, China and Taiwan show up as one country on the Google Analytics map. Is this another deal that was cut as the price of doing business with Chinese Commun
If you look at WHOIS for Google.cn you'll find that domain registered to a single Chinese national. Practically everything we do on the web in China, almost all business activity has to be transacted through a Chinese proxy. Even Google.
Anyways, this little map thing, this disappearing nation trick, we've seen this before. Tibet. At one point just went away from all world maps. I think it's a conspiracy of the cartographers.
