'Poor man's Gatorade' saves children from diarrhea death

Diarrhea death? It would be funny I suppose(in a morbid sort of way) if it weren't so serious. Diarrhea claims the lives 1.5 million kids annually. That is more than AIDS, malaria and measles combined. Combined people! and yet no one talks about how bad diarrhea is we hear celebrity's go on and on about AIDS but this kills more people why won't anyone pick up the slack? It cannot be because of immodesty really, so why I ask why won't people spread awareness to stop diarrhea death. Diarrhea death is one of the most horrific things I have ever heard of beating out chinchilla diabetes and that is bad, but what makes this even worse is that something as simple as Gatorade could prevent some of these deaths.
