I received the census three times by mail each time I returned the census unanswered with this letter: ( I blocked out address for this posting )
U. S. Census Bureau 3-18-2010
1201 East 10th Street 4-1-2010
Jefferson Indiana 4-10-2010
47190
I wish to comply with Article 1 Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution .
Requiring a counting of the population of the nation ,
a Census .
To do so with the current Form ( D-1 ) issued and sent from the United States Census ) will put me in violation of Title 13 US Code Chaper 7 Offenses and Penalties .
I believe that the question(s) on this form to be worded in a way that will
entrap the respondent of the questioner .
Under threat of penalty and fear of loss of either life or liberty or property or all .
I herby invoke Article 5 of the US Constitution Bill of Rights commonly
known as the Fifth Amendment against self incrimination .
The occupant respondent domiciled at this residence will not be able to
fill out form D-1 from the United States Census unless an immunity from
federal prosecution can be obtained from the United States Attorney's office .
Sincerely
Occupant domiciled at :
XXXXX - XXXXXXX
Nashville , Indiana
XXXXXXXX
The main reason was to get a response .
Without getting into detail ... look up the words domicile , resident
The word " live " is not in any legal dictionary ... that I have seen .
They are asking presumptive questions that are based falsely .
I have not gotten a response .
One of the reasons my be because a census worker got killed and ate by dogs here in Brown County Indiana
Dorothy Stewart -- the Census worker who was killed by 18 dogs in Indianahttp://www.dogbitelaw.com/PAGES/crim.html
I guess they are afraid to come around because they think I'll sic the dogs on ' em

In all fairness I'd have to see an "Ernest naked" version to make a cogent judgement.

You got that right, Brock!
Anything involving a naked Ernie and a videocamera I want no part of!
(And if I need to go to your house for ANYTHING I'll be sure to 'call ahead'... : )

Well at any rate, even if you are nude you better have your citizenship papers on you, somewhere.

Actually Brock, a couple of AZ cities have tried to make answering the door naked illegal. So much for your castle, and uninvited guests intruding on your property and privacy. I mean, this is the hazard of being a Seventh Day Adventist... witnessing God's work.

Actually, I simply would have screamed through the door,..."Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin!!"

Although Chip and Ed may not agree (as observers of the actual event) the only way to answer the door for uninvited guests is stark naked.
That's also the way to answer the door for invited guests, but wholly irrellevent to this matter. :-)
