.TSA says airlines providing more passenger data

• Jeremy Pelofsky, Reuters
All airline passengers on flights to, from and within the United States are being checked against U.S. government security watchlists, the Transportation Security Administration said Tuesday. TSA said that all of the nearly 130 international carriers flying to and from the United States have begun collecting new data from passengers, including their full name, date of birth and gender, which are then checked against the lists, a program known as Secure Flight.

Secure Flight: Or Traveling Under A Microscope?

TSA’s expansion of data collection from air passengers to be checked against government security Watch-lists, (the air passenger’s full name, date of birth and gender) lends itself to being used by a (despot) U.S. Government to selectively stop Citizens using other forms of public transportation, who politically oppose or speak out against U.S. Government. The Nazis used national emergency as a premise to repeatedly target, search and detain Germans boarding or taking trains considered political dissidents or socially unfit; Citizens were intentionally delayed and arrested by police/military so they would be late or miss work. Targeted Citizens lost there jobs, many could not survive.
