A foreclosure settlement between five major banks guilty of “robo-signing” and the attorneys general of the 50 states is pending for Monday, February 6th; but it is still not clear if all the AGs will sign. California was to get over half of the $25 billion in settlement money, and California AG Kamala Harris has withstood pressure to settle.
What it really means is that lawyers and
others who should be imprisoned for fraud and lawyers who should be
disbarred are going to be patted on the back by the very lawyers who've
sworn an oath--before taking your money--to uphold the laws.
All animals
are equal on the farm. It's just that some are more equal than others.

Wow! We don't often see Mr. Klein submitting articles other than of a scientific nature. This is refreshing.
What this article amounts to is that the banks did some fraud - at least semi-fraud. And now that they are in court to answer to that fraud/semi-fraud, they are using fraudulent means to be found not guilty. Don't you just love bank fraud?
