Terrorism in Boston
• Lewrockwell.comFrom the point of view of cost and benefit, terrorism is a brilliantly effective form of warfare, especially against heavily armed countries of the First World. The reasons are several. First, terrorism offers no target to the basically World War Two militaries of advanced countries. If five Saudis, two Pakis, a Russian and a disaffected American blow up a building in Chicago, against whom does the US seek revenge? Is it against Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the United States, none of whose governments had anything to do with the attack?

When al-Qaida did 9/11, the U.S. rightly engaged in military action to exterminate it wherever it could be found. When immigrants from Muslim Chechnya who have been dipping their noses in the Quran too much stage a terrorist bombing in Boston against Americans for being infidels, it's not Chechnya the U.S. should get revenge against, it's the Quran, by banning anybody who believes in it from immigration. So why doesn't it? Because Pres. Obama is a secret Muslim? If he isn't, he needs to get a clue that Islam is an archenemy of the U.S. Constitution and always will be, and his oath to defend and protect the latter gives him a responsibility to call for the closure of America's gates to Muslim immigration as the only appropriate response to 9/11, Boston, and other Muslim terrorism on our shores.
