Jeffrey Sinclair, a brigadier general in the U.S. Army, is prepared to admit to sexual affairs, but deny assault charges leveled against him. The military leader is telling the press he has maintained affairs with three women, including two junior officers and a civilian. The 52-year-old will also plead guilty to possessing pornography in Afghanistan, and conduct unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman. Prosecutors in the case say Sinclair attempted to obtain nude photos of junior officers. General Sinclair is denying the most serious of the charges against him. He is accused of forcing one woman to perform oral sex. The government states he forcibly sodomized her, and threatened to kill the captain and her family if she told anyone about their relationship. The woman with whom Sinclair was having the longest affair was 29 when their tryst began three years ago.
