A 392-page textbook typically used for college-level heath classes is being adopted at one school to teach ninth-graders about oral sex, vibrators, gay marriage, and bondage.

The book titled "Your Health Today" will be utilized to instruct the 2,400 students enrolled in the Bay Area school district. All students will be required to successfully complete the course in order to graduate. Despite the school being a taxpayer-funded public school, there is very little that the over one thousand outraged parents in that school district can do to change the course requirement.

In addition to teaching the children about oral sex, vibrators, and bondage, the textbook also devotes several sections to gay marriage, e-cigarettes, and information about online dating sites. The ninth-graders will also get their eyes full of pictures depicting male and female sexual organs during different phases of arousal, with information about masturbation and popular sexual positions.
