Brevard County Buys Military Choppers

For several years, the federal government has been selling high-grade military weapons and equipment to police departments throughout the country. Today, so many of the same weapons used in Fallujah are hiding away in police arsenals. Some stations opt to buy smaller gear like helmets or vests. Other departments choose not to participate at all. But when we did a little digging, we learned that SOME police stations are going all out. Take a look at this. In Brevard County Florida, police purchased 8 different military grade helicopters, each costing 18 MILLION dollars! And the government gives these departments a huge discount too. All told, the county spent over 140 MILLION dollars just on helicopters.
